More Upcoming Bets - Early action

Here are a couple more bets on some upcoming UFC events. You need to make sure you get on these before the odds change.

Mirko Crocop (-110) vs Junior Dos Santos

There has been a lot of hype surrounding a couple of stellar performances from Dos Santos, but despite that we really don't know where he stands. The Werdum win was solid, and Werdum has always had competent striking, but was never a standup phenom by any means.

On the other hand, we know where crocop stnads. His recent stumbles and lackluster performances were all against top level fighters, and he seems to be back in the game. He looked focused against Al Turk, even though that was a lopsided matchup. All in all, there is no reason why the lines should be this close when you have a basically untested fighter going up against one of MMA's perennial contenders. Crocop should be a clear favorite, at least until we have reason to think otherwise (and one quick KO against a grappler isn't really such a reason, IMO)

Bet: Crocop, 2 units to win 1.818

Gleison Tibau (+275) vs Sean Sherk

While Sherk is, and should be, a solid favorite in this fight, there are a lot of reasons to consider a dog bet on Tibau. His size and decent wrestling should allow him to avoid being badly controlled by Sherk, and may even allow him to defend Sherk's takedowns for a round or two. In the event that Sherk continues to think he's a kickboxer and keep the fight standing, Tibau has good striking and a huge reach advantage. Although Sherk is my official pick to win, if he continues with his new style, he could very well donk off another decision loss.

Bet: Tibau, 1 unit to win 2.75 units
